In this powerful episode of the HerStory Podcast, Kylie King is joined by Alana Bye, the founder of Alana Marie Holistic Healing based in Mulgoa, NSW. Alana is a holistic healer and practitioner who specialises in helping mothers move from “breakdown to badass.” As a mother herself, Alana understands the unique, often overwhelming challenges of parenting from the biological fight-or-flight response triggered by a crying child to the generational trauma patterns that often resurface in motherhood.
Alana shares her extensive “bag of tools,” which includes quantum energy healing, breathwork, hypnotherapy, and even the unique Dien Chan Multirelexology. She explains why healing isn’t a linear path and why customised care is essential for moms who are constantly navigating nervous system dysregulation. Whether you’re feeling like a “mumbi” (zombie mom) or struggling with the “mental load,” Alana provides a safe space to regulate, heal, and rediscover your badass self.

Guest: Alana Bye
Alana is a massage therapist turned holistic healer with over 10 years of experience. Her passion for massage began at just four years old, making it a lifelong calling. Over time, she realised that helping people physically was no longer enough. She felt called to create deeper and more meaningful healing and empowerment for her clients.
This led her on a transformative learning journey where she integrated multiple modalities including Dien Chan Multireflexology, hypnotherapy, life coaching, breathwork, and colour analysis. These approaches now form the foundation of her business, Alana Marie Holistic Healing.
Following the birth of her son, Alana’s mission evolved. She became deeply passionate about supporting mothers in healing their trauma while navigating her own journey of self-healing. Her work is grounded in the belief that true healing helps prevent generational patterns from being passed on.
Alana also embraces many roles beyond her practice. She is a mother, healer, basketball coach, music enthusiast, fire performer, nature lover, and partner. Through her work, she creates a safe and empowering space for clients to reconnect with themselves and step into their fullest potential.
After the closure of ATP, Alana relaunched her business with a renewed vision. She no longer identified solely as a massage therapist, so she rebranded from Candalana’s Massage to Alana Marie Holistic Healing to better reflect the depth of her work.
Today, she supports individuals, especially mothers, in healing trauma and stepping into the best version of themselves. Her mission is to help break cycles and prevent limiting patterns from being passed on to future generations.
Her work is guided by core values of integrity, authenticity, love, holistic healing, freedom, and respect.
Through a diverse range of services, Alana takes a whole-person approach by addressing the mind, body, and spirit. Her offerings include bodywork, energy healing, self-discovery practices, subconscious rewiring, empowerment and mindset coaching, meditation, and aligned products that support intentional living.
