In this episode of the HerStory Podcast, Kylie King is joined by Veronica McPhee, the creative force behind Neapolitan Virtual Assistance. After years of homeschooling and being a stay-at-home mum, Veronica shares her journey of re-entering the workforce by leveraging her background in graphic design and high-level customer service. She discusses how the “mum-skills” of problem-solving, resourcefulness, and multi-tasking translate perfectly to the business world, helping her bridge the gap between being a full-time parent and a successful entrepreneur.

Veronica explains that branding is more than just a logo; it is the physical representation of a founder’s dream. She works with female entrepreneurs to move past fleeting trends and “carbon copy” designs to create heart-centered identities that they are proud to stand behind. By focusing on alignment and intuition, Veronica helps business owners overcome the procrastination that often comes from having a brand that doesn’t truly feel like home, allowing them to finally show up with total confidence.

Guest: Veronica McPhee

My name is Veronica, although I go by Vee, and I am a married mother of four based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. For the past 11 years, I have been home schooling my children, and now that their lessons have become more self-driven, I felt it was the right time for me to embark on my entrepreneurial journey. I am a qualified graphic designer with a genuine passion for branding. Through my business, Neapolitan Virtual Assistance, I aim to support entrepreneurial women who have brilliant ideas but require assistance in bringing their brand to life. Whether they need an honest, objective opinion on their online presence or are ready to take their existing business to the next level.

In my rec time, I find joy in activities such as fitness, which is now like a part time job, that I pay for, through participating in physique competitions. I also love family time, date nights, cooking, reading (almost anything), and creating digital artworks.

As for my business goals, I aspire to empower as many women as possible, instilling confidence in them regarding the authentic representation of their businesses online. Within the next 18 months, my aim is to expand my services, transforming them into a comprehensive resource for entrepreneurs seeking to grow their small businesses.
